Great looking creature!
Didn't expect it, makes me more anxious to see what you have in store for us.
Good luck on the rest of the project! |

Wow it looks great.
I just like the creature on the mountain alot.
It seems you're putting lots of work into this.
I can't wait to see some animation.
Keep up the good work. |

Thanks guys.
Last pictures you'll see before I start Animating!
Here's the Character Designs I've gone with;
Made a new Armature for the Main guy. Main reason is because I knew I could have done the Clothing/Proportions better and I wanted him smaller overall - Small facial features are annoying to do..
Fixed up a few things on the Monster like; knuckles and now he doesn't have noodle arms.
Pretty much just playing the waiting game now.
The Green Material I need in order to Chroma Key out the background was marked as sent a few days ago, so should arrive this week.
Gives me a bit of time to get Lighting right, another thing I have no experience with.
Might need some help with that, for sure.
Then time to Animate! |

Also the guy's face looks really good.
He's got a lot of character.
Looking like it's going to be a fun video! |

Agreeing with Penguin.
I think the characters look great.I'm really looking forward to this video.
Btw where do yuo order your "green material"?
As for lighting, I wish I could help you but I'm not good with it either.
You could experiment of course.
Can't wait!!! |

Thanks guys.
Sand; I just got the Green Material through Ebay. Was the cheapest way for me to get it.
It arrived today and i'm having trouble setting up the lighting so it's well lit.
Gotta do some more tests. |

Hmm ebay, I think I should look on there more often.
Btw I was lloking for some black material.
I wanted to make a black background that gives you the idea that there's nothing behind the scene.
But I don't know how I'm going to do that yet.
The lighting is always a bit troublesome.
Anyway, keep it up. |

If the lighting ends up being too intense and bright for the mood your trying to get, you can put a piece of paper in front of the light. This dims it down a bit but still keeps the stage lighted.
Although you might want to be careful if the light gets hot and catches the paper on fire... I dunno it didn't happen to me when I did it but you might want to be careful. Also I read that idea in a book so I know other people use it. |

Yes King, I use Baking Paper since it can withstand heat.
But I also don't leave the Camera's Shutter open long to make each shot darker than it appears.
Thanks Gore!
Started Animating, and been working on the replacement Animation sequence.
There's 19 sculpts in the sequence from a 'spec' to the Monster.
Done the basic shapes, which was annoying as hell to do certain bits.
Now just gotta detail the later end ones a bit. |

Congrats on getting you green screen!
I can't wait to see this completed.
I do have a question though, how long do you intend on this animation to be? |

As long as I can make it!
No doubt a lot will get chucked in Editing.
This isn't the Animation I made this thread for, by the way.
The House Set won't even be seen in this one i'm doing now.
This is just going to be a walk cycle with the Mountain Set to get me into the swing of things. And has turned into more of a mini-story. |
