Hello guys, i'm a big fan of clay-animations and so i'm writing you this post!
I am a musician, but i'm also a writer, designer, illustrator, film-maker and I'm in love with lo-fi/8bit/grungy movies!
My name's Trivo, I'm 32 and since I was 17 I write, compose and recording songs at home.
I have more than 200, registered with the technique of overdubbing before, and with the PC later.
In September 2008 came out my new cd and regularly self
deposited with Creative Commons.
Sound all by myself and singing. I love lo-fi music, electronic, and indie-rock.
I write lyrics in Italian, but i have recorder many instrumental tracks.
I've always been a supporter of free music for everyone, because my CD is downloadable for free on my myspace, and alternatives for those who want to own the physical CD with case, booklet with color text, I ask only 3 euro as the recovery costs.
This is myspace page where you can find some works of mine and some songs:
http://www.myspace.com/elephantsuicide
Here you can listen and dowload all the tracks from my album:
http://www.jamendo.com/it/album/49786
(make attentions to the instrumental tracks:
La disciplina delle fermentazioni
Kisstarsky
The darkest side of the dark
Phantazomai
Talking to Van Vera
Tu non sei normale)
Here is a page where you can download my cd with artworks and booklet:
http://homemade-lofi-psychedelic.blogspot.com/2010/02/trivo-emoterapia-it-2009.html
My CD named "Emoterapia" has been reviewed on several italian, english, spanish and german music magazines and fanzines such as:
il mucchio
rockit
succo acido
extra music magazine
losthighways
homemade lofi psych
kathodik
rocklab
beautiful freaks
lofi hifi
gufetto magazine
nova muzique
nerds attack
saltinaria
indie-zone
indie-eye
in your eyes zine
the holy hour webzine
gufetto magazine
loudvision
impatto sonoro
debaser
....
Some of my fans have created videos with my songs that you can see on Youtube
by typing "TRIVO NERO" or "TRIVO KISSTARSKY".
I'd like to offer my tracks for free for your video experiments.
Feel free to create images based on the emotions that I can send you and whatever you do you will be free to post anywhere.
I have no money to offer, I am a pauper, but I wanted you to know that if you liked my compositions, I would be honored to join you for your insights to create a new thing that was not there before.
I believe in creative freedom and the desire to experiment, I still believe that the business world and what art should be divided, but unfortunately I know this is impossible in today's world ... But why must we give up?
I launched my message ... I will be happy to reply if you want to answer all your questions, including translations of the texts of my songs.
Thank you for reading me!
For any questions you can contact me here:

Ciao!

Your music is great; it's really relaxing and catchy. Ratio me fugit is my favourite so far, but I haven't downloaded your CD yet. I'll put it on my MP3 player and give it a listen tomorrow.
I also admire your attitude and passion, you're the kind of artist who deserves praise and recognition for both your attitude and talent.
Thanks for sharing your music and keep it up. : ) |

This is great of you to do!
You and I may have to talk some in the near future, once I get back into the swing of putting out projects.
I've been searching for original music, so glad to see someone willing to offer theres.
Would you ever be open to doing an original soundtrack to animation?
Will be sometime before this happens, but just seeing what you are all about.
Enjoyed the music by the way!
Will listen to it more later, on a work computer now. |

Thank you penguin!
Yes of course, i'd like to compose a soundtrack! I play many instruments (if you like simple melodies and mood sound... i'm not Chopin!)!
I wait for your message!
So... if someone of you had a samples movie or a finished movie with a cat, i have the perfect song for you!
It's called "ho un gatto nel cervello" (i got a cat in the brain), and speak about obsessions that walk silently in our mind like a cat!
You can't see it but you can hear his meow!
You can dowload it always from the links up on my first post!
We can choose together you work for my official videoclip!
What do you think?!

m_) I want to officially declare that this great composer SkoolMonkey and I are already making a collaboration. I am going to use Kristarsky for my environmental sounds.
I dig "I have a cat in my brain"...but I do not have a cat at the moment finished to work it out. Maybe...later on.
Anyway, the collab will come out this month, sooner or later but within the period of march.
'NO TIME TO LOSE" is going to be called.. that's all I can say.
m_) At first, in my previous comment, I was not still sure what I was looking at...but I am lucid and all..and yes, this is AWESOME!!!
thanks a lot SkoolMonkey (Trivio!) ......We'll get this done. |

Nice thanks for this and welcome to the forums SkoolMonkey! I particularly dug Phantazomai composing, mixing, and mastering music for my films is one of my favorite things to to...and I can appreciate the immense hours of concentration and trial and error to get just the 'right' sound you want. I think a musical making tutorial would be good might have to explore doing that...my favorite progz for this as of late have been flstudio XXL, Reaper, T-RackS (for mastering), and VSTs Kontakt (symphobia), Absynth, Amplitude and many others...
cheers! |

m_) Mission Accomplished.
m_) Your video is set, Monkey!
m_) Let me thank you in the name of the entire forum for your oh-so-generous offering. Very well received.
I used two of your tracks and I wished I could have worked more things out but I had to meet a deadline so what I have is all I could get in a month. Keep making music, you are very good and I like the idea of cats in our brains oh yeah.. |
