With the resent topic about soundsnap, I thought it might be a good idea to list all our good sound websites, thus instead of creating usless forum crap, we can use this to find acess to music and sound sites.
WHAT WE USE:
www.a1freesoundeffects.com
a free, easily acessable website that allows you to download sounds as a wav or mp3, also catagorized.
www.findsounds.com
a website where you can search the Internet for sounds based on your keywords
www.Freeplaymusic.com
a free music website that let's you download songs. Great for YouTube because your video won't be ripped off of due to copyrights. Plus it has a lot of catagories to find the music that best fits your animation.
www.soundsnap.com
this website is mostly a pay website but gives you 5 free sounds a month
www.soundrangers.com
Has both music and sound effects. Some are free but most cost money. You can get listen to what you want before you buy.
WHAT MAMSHMAM USES:

has music and sound effects, costs money but has a lot of varitey.

i just use soundsnap.... in combination with audacity it works quite well...just record the thing that they give you... lol i havent used any of my downloads and made this cool sound lol nice right? |

Yah, and i would actually update the post so no one gets confused, that thread was more of a "what sounds you use?" this would be one for people who don't know where to go. |

Thank you for posting this thread oh and I have a sound effect site that is free: http://a1freesoundeffects.com/ I use it a good bit expecially when I run out of my 5 free soundsnaps. |
